Tilio partners with RorTech Partners on AI adoption and AI search visibility

We've partnered with RorTech Partners, the AI and technology consultancy led by Adam and Cassie Blackwell. Together we cover AI adoption inside the business, and how brands show up when AI answers questions about them.

We've partnered with RorTech Partners, the AI and technology consultancy led by Adam and Cassie Blackwell. Between us we now cover both halves of the question our clients keep arriving with: how do we use AI properly inside the business, and how do we show up when AI answers questions about us outside it?

Why we've partnered with RorTech

Those two questions sound separate, and they aren't. The marketing leaders rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot across their teams are usually the same people asking us what ChatGPT says when a customer types their brand name. We work on the second half. RorTech works on the first. Neither of us was trying to build the other's capability, which is exactly what makes this worth doing.

“Our customers are adopting AI at pace, and the conversation nearly always widens. Once Copilot is working well inside the business, the next question is how the business itself shows up when someone asks an AI about you. That's a specialist discipline, and Tilio are very good at it.”

Adam Blackwell, Managing Director of RorTech Partners

What RorTech does

RorTech Partners is an AI and technology consultancy for UK businesses, based in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. They run Microsoft Copilot adoption programmes, build AI and automation into existing processes using Copilot Studio and the Power Platform, and provide fractional IT leadership, which means a part-time CIO, CTO or CAIO working at board level without the cost of a full-time hire. They also run readiness assessments, managed support, workshops and strategy days.

What we're doing together

We're referring work in both directions. When a Tilio client needs Copilot rolled out properly, senior IT and AI leadership without a full-time hire, or automation built around how they actually work, we'll introduce them to RorTech. When a RorTech customer wants to know how they're being found and described across AI search, they'll introduce them to us.

Beyond referrals, we're publishing partner pages on each other's sites, running joint workshops and briefings, and working together on research into how AI is changing both the workplace and search. There's more to come on that over the next few months.

You can read the full picture on our RorTech partnership page.

What this means if you work with us

Nothing changes about how we work with you. Your tracked prompts, content plan and reporting all carry on exactly as they are. What's different is that when something lands outside our remit, we've got a team we'd happily use ourselves to hand you to, rather than leaving you to go and find one.

So if there's an AI adoption project you've been sitting on, or you've been quietly wondering whether your Copilot rollout is going the way it should, just ask and we'll make the introduction. And if you're a RorTech customer reading this and you'd like to see how you currently appear across AI search, we can show you real data on your first call.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between what Tilio does and what RorTech does?+

Tilio is an answer engine optimisation agency in Exeter, Devon. We work on how brands are found and described in AI search, tracking visibility daily across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, then improving it through content, source ecosystem work and third-party placements. RorTech Partners is an AI and technology consultancy in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire, working inside the business on Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, AI and automation projects, and fractional IT leadership. One is about how AI represents you to the outside world, the other is about how your people use AI day to day.

Does this change anything for existing Tilio clients?+

No. Your contract, tracked prompts, content plan and reporting stay exactly as they are. The partnership just means that when something comes up outside our remit, whether that's Microsoft 365 Copilot, IT leadership or AI automation, we can introduce you to a team we trust instead of leaving you to find one yourself.

Is Microsoft 365 Copilot the same as the Copilot that answers questions about my brand?+

No, they're two different products that share a name. Microsoft 365 Copilot is the assistant inside your own Microsoft tools, working across your documents, email and meetings. The Copilot someone might use to ask about your company is a public assistant drawing on the open web. Your customers won't make that distinction, so it's worth having both covered.

How do I get an introduction to RorTech?+

Just ask. Email team@tilio.co.uk or use the contact form, tell us roughly what you're trying to do, and we'll introduce you to Adam and the team. It works the same way in reverse for RorTech customers who want to understand their AI search visibility.
