A senior AI search specialist, inside your team
An experienced AI search specialist working in your team a few days a month. No full-time salary, no software to buy.
An experienced specialist, without the full-time cost
Fractional means an experienced AI search specialist works inside your team for a set number of days each month. Not an account manager, and not an agency contact you catch up with on a Thursday. They sit in your planning sessions, work out of your Slack, and carry the result the way a permanent hire would.
The trade is straightforward. You get two to four days of someone genuinely senior instead of five days a week of whoever the budget stretches to. For most marketing teams that's the better deal, because AI search is still young enough that judgement matters more than hours.
What we take on
We take responsibility for the whole discipline, not a list of tasks. In practice that means:
The plan+
A 90 day roadmap by week three, refreshed every quarter.
The questions we track+
The things your customers actually ask AI, reviewed monthly as your market shifts.
The reporting+
Where you're showing up and where you aren't, written for your board rather than for us.
Your content+
Briefing your writers and reviewing what comes back, so it's built to be quoted.
The software+
Choosing it, paying for it and running it, so nobody on your team has to learn another platform.
Defending the budget+
Being in the room when the spend gets questioned, with the data to answer it.
Two ways to work with us
Which one you need usually comes down to who's asking the difficult questions internally.
Fractional Specialist
From £1,450 a month
A Tilio strategist working inside your marketing team, running the roadmap day to day alongside your people. The right fit when you've got a capable team that needs direction on AI search specifically.
Two to four days a month, tracking and reporting included, three month minimum.
Fractional Director
From £2,350 a month
Our founder does this one personally. Board-facing, and the right call when AI search has become a leadership conversation rather than a marketing one, or when you're weighing up whether to build a team around it at all.
Two to four days a month, tracking and reporting included, three month minimum.
The first 90 days
We don't spend a month getting to know each other. The first job is finding out where you actually stand, because most teams are working off assumptions.
Week one+
We agree the questions your customers are actually asking, and get you measured against them across the engines that matter to your market.
Week three+
You get the plan. What we're fixing, in what order, and what should move as a result.
Month three+
First quarterly review. What's changed in the data, what your team's picked up, and what we're prioritising next.

FAQs
What is fractional GEO?+
Fractional GEO is a senior AI search specialist in your team for a few days a month, not a full-time hire and not an agency retainer. They run the strategy, the tracking and the reporting for how you show up in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. GEO and AEO are two names for that same job, so fractional AEO is the same offer.
How is this different from your monthly plans?+
Our monthly plans are delivery. We do the work from outside your business and report on it. Fractional puts us inside your team instead, setting the direction and briefing your own people. Plenty of businesses run both, with the fractional specialist setting strategy and a plan covering the content.
Is content production included?+
No. Fractional covers the specialist, the strategy and the tracking. Content comes from your own team, our content sprints, or a mix, which keeps you in control of where that budget goes.
Do we need to buy an AI visibility platform?+
No. Tracking and reporting are included in the fee, so there's nothing to buy or learn. If you already have a platform we'll work in that instead.
Who actually turns up?+
The same named person every time. You'll meet them before you commit, and they'll be in your Slack and your planning sessions rather than appearing for a monthly call.
What happens as our team gets stronger?+
The work changes shape. Early on we do most of the thinking, and by month six we're steering while your people run more of the day to day. The off-site work and the tracking usually stay with us, because neither sits neatly inside a marketing team.
How long is the commitment?+
Three months minimum, then rolling. That's roughly what it takes to get measurement in place, ship the first round of work and see it move.
Is this the right fit?
A short call is enough to tell. We'll look at where you're showing up now and be straight about whether you need this, one of our monthly plans, or neither yet.
